Linhof Technika Schneider Tele-Arton 270 mm f/ 5.5 telephoto lens in black Linhof Synchro-Compur shutter. Serial #11376949. Made in Germany. Cover up to 4x5'. Telephoto desigh. Shutter speed range is 1/200 - 1 second, T and B. Lens stop range is f/ 5.5 - f/ 32.Linhof Technika Focusing Cam with non-matching serial number. Interestingly enough, Linhof actually INVENTED the all metal field camera. In the beginning was the Linhof Technika I and II. Forget them as modern user cameras. Not worth discussing here except to say their serial #'s preceded 19,000. They are black square cameras with no bright metal trim. No Technikas before the III had built in RF. The number 1073564, which appears under the 105mm is the serial number of the Zeiss Tessar 105mm f / 3.5 that came with the camera. The curve was machined specifically for this lens. So it is very important when buying a Linhof check if these numbers match. Jun 26, 2019 The serial number of the camera is actually engraved on the camera under the shoe. To find it, remove the shoe and look underneath. Accessory shoes sometimes got lost over the years and were replaced by shoes from other cameras so you really should look at the number on your camera to be sure. If it's a Technika V then it's a very safe bet that.

The letters on the top: DRP DRGM. The camera looks exactly like another one in this thread with knobs on the upper side with an angular RF and serial# close to each other (227xx something and mine 23355). What more is the lens (a 4.5/150 Xenar) is from 1948/49 due to it's serial#. The Cam has the lens# on it's upper side but lack the Galeras serial# on the lower side. So I can't say that this and the lens were sold with the camera when new. According to the shutter wich is a dial compur, the serial# says construction 1928!!
I Googled around for DRP DRGM. It was used until 1949 and in some cases as late as 1952.
Bob, does DRP mean for shure that my camera is a Technika III?
I don't know what a 'Medizin' looks like...
My last question is: The serial# present at cameraquest on Linhof III type 1, 22xxx-23xxx, where do they got them from?
DRP is post WW II, RDP is not.I Googled around for DRP DRGM. It was used until 1949 and in some cases as late as 1952.

Linhof Technika Serial Number Camera Reviews
The last models of the Medcin looked like a III. Many Medcin cameras had a very durable white finish so it could be cleaned for use in operating rooms.![Number Number](/uploads/1/2/4/4/124424842/589187019.jpeg)

I have no contact with camera quest and have no idea where they got their info, other then a lot of it is incorrect, it is not current and they misspelled my name.
